From Sand Island to Turtle Beach

It started here. With two wonderful people coming together 17 years ago come this July 21st.

2001_Bernie and Dean

I remember this shot at Sand Island Park on Oʻahu. Back in the day of FILM which is how I started my career. Oh how I miss those analog days! This photo hangs in their home. A reminder of where it all began…

17 years later here they are:

It was fun to reconnect with Bernie and Dean again and meet their three beautiful offsprings. Actually, their second child I photographed when she was ONE and my how sheʻs grown. And yes, in FILM!

I LOVE capturing lifeʻs journies. I feel thatʻs what a professional photographerʻs main job is: to document life. Preserving that time into something tangible. Itʻs MY JAM! and I really, really love it!

So, you can imagine how excited I was to continue documenting Bernie and Deanʻs life journey together as a couple and now as parents.

Before you know it, Iʻll be getting a call for these three and their SENIOR PORTRAITS!!

In the meantime, Iʻll enjoy capturing them as keikis who get to come to Hawaiʻi for their family vacation. Having a great time in the sun, surf and with cousins!

Mahalo, Bernie and Dean, for allowing me to capturing your ʻohana.

Thank you for the journey that started 17 years ago with the both of you. So wonderful documenting your smiles and laughter again…times three!!!
